Garnet Properties
Garnet crystallizes in the form of dodecahedral and trapezohedral crystals.
Garnet is a "stone of health", extracting negative energy from the chakras and transmuting the energy to the beneficial state.
It has also been known as a "stone for commitment" - to purpose, to others and to oneself. The loving powers of the garnet tend to reflect the attributes of devotion, bringing the love of others to expressions of warmth and understanding.
It is also an excellent stone for treating disorders of the spine and spinal fluid, bone cellular structure and composition, heart, lungs and blood.
Dolomite Properties
Dolomite crystallizes in the form of masses, grains, rhombohedral, and prismatic crystals, and crystal aggregates. The colour range includes white, grey, green-white, red, rose-red, green, pink, brown, and black. The rhombohedral crystals which are quite characteristic of dolomite are in the tri-rhombohedral class with phenacite.
Dolomite encourages charitable actions and relieves sorrow in such a way as to assist one to recognise that there are actually no reasons to be sorrowful (i.e., "everything happens for a reason"). It encourages energetic and impulsive original thinking and manifestation. It also assists in producing stamina when one is dealing with hyperactive individuals.
It can be worn, carried. When used to enhance a room, the massive, granular forms may also be used. The tri-rhombohedral crystalline structure is useful for energy alignment, balancing, and blockage removal. It can also be used to arrest leakages of energy from the charkas.
